![]() When I asked her for her name she refused providing me with it. She also said that it's her club and I can forget about entering it. I was shocked by how rude she was to a hotel guest who simply tried to enter the pool and had no idea that it's imperative to enter it from her right not from her left. For the record I have lost part of my hearing few years back and honestly I have not hear her saying anything in already loud place with the music playing in the background. She said that because I do not follow her directions when she told me 3 times to approach her from the other side she won't let me in to the pool area. The man simply wouldn't listen to what I was about to ask him and rudely turned his back and walked away, the other person - a security lady - came up and started scolding me saying that she said 3 times to me that I should approach her from the side that was fenced with a rope and not from the side that I came from (I guess it was imperative to her to make sure that I approach her from the right not from the left). ![]() As I approached them to ask about the entrance rules I've noticed that 2 people (one lady and a man) started to laugh. As we walked towards the entrance of Tao Pool area I've noticed that one side was gated by a rope and I've decided to walk from the side that was not fenced off towards the people who apparently were Tao Pool security. It was our first time coming down to the pool area so we didn't really know what are the rules governing entrance to Tao pool. Unfortunately on the second last day of our stay, instead of relaxing in friendly atmosphere I have been faced with exceptionally rude, disrespectful and cynical behaviour from 2 of the security staff members of Tao Beach Club. It was our first time in Vegas and we wanted to make sure that our week stay here will be unforgettable. My wife and I came to spend our 15th wedding anniversary at The Venetian. Normally I do not get out of the way to write complaints but today is one of those days that I just couldn't let it slide as I'm afraid this same rude and disrespectful behaviour from Tao Pool security may also happen to other guests of the Venetian hotel. I hope that this info can be passed on to the appropriate party who is able to act on what I'm about to tell you. I did notice later on that some people did have single cup cocktails which they ordered from the bar so I am assuming as we were on a bed we could only order pitchers but if you didn't have a bed then you could order a single drink from the bar.Īll in all it was a good day but just be prepared to take lots of money with you for drinks. I did ask if I could just order single non alcoholic cocktails but they said I couldn't do that and had to order a pitcher of non alcohol cocktail which was a little annoying but never mind, it was only $38 for mine. A pitcher of cocktail was $120 which we thought was ok as would last a while. I am pregnant so wasn't drinking alcohol but we noticed the cheapest bottle of wine was around $460 which is crazy! My husband obviously didn't order this. ![]() We have been the other beach clubs in the past and the pool has ended up being disgusting toward the end of the day but this one stayed clean the whole time which was good. The music was good and the pool stayed clean. TAO is a great place, we went on a Thursday so it was nice and chilled, it did get busy but not too busy. We booked a daybed which cost us £250 (plus taxes & tips) which was then our minimum spend for the day. Myself and my husband visited TAO whilst in Vegas last week.
